Master Planning (Strategic Planning)
As institutions evolve in their mission and vision, it is critical to assess and plan their facilities accordingly. We assist our clients in establishing visions, setting goals, preparing plans and implementation schedules through an engaging and interactive process. MAP seeks to develop planning strategies that respond to current needs while anticipating change so that future growth can be accommodated within an orderly framework. Alternative planning possibilities are investigated with respect to allocations of space, costs, functional efficiencies, operational parameters and the intangible qualities that are the hallmark of successful design solutions. MAP collaborates closely with its clients to realize their goals and expectations as well as achieve consensus among stakeholders. Our master plans strive to create physical and distinctive forms that integrate: site; functional requirements; circulation; physical form; open spaces; and landscaping, into a cohesive but flexible development that can be easily phased.
